Linksys RV042 or RV082 to V6?

Has anyone used the Linksys dual wan VPN routers as VPN endpoints with a V6?  I'm looking at these SOHO routers for a home connection (with dual internet, Cable + PPPoE) that will VPN to his office that has a V6 box.

The specs suggest that it should work but you can never tell with these things.  I once had a Dlink DI-804HV working years ago but that was tricky.

    I have two RV042 boxes hooked up to a 6.203 using standard IPSEC connections.  I was rather surprised to find they worked on the first try.  I don’t get the best speeds on them, but I think that’s due more to my ADSL.
    Let me know how they work out for you.

    Small world.  Just today I tried to make an RV082 work.  It wasn't very hard to match up the profiles.  It seemed to work a charm.  Speed is good.

    But.....
    Just when I thought all was good I noticed that Uploading over the VPN would stall.  The VPN would still be up and I could still use it, the existing upload would never run but downloading would continue to work over the VPN.  I can upload tiny

    Can you set the MTU to 1452 on the VPN for both sides? Even try something even smaller like 1300 for testing.

    yep, did that.  Nothing seems to help except rolling back the firmware version.  I have less VPN options but at least upstream is working now (3DES/PFS/COMP).  It doesn't appear to be an ASL issue as the same router works fine from a different ISP.  Funny thing is that ASL at both ends works great.  The RVxx works fine to an ASL from most locations except this one ISP.

    I'd love to run ASL at all locations but is a very hard sell at small shops.

    Been a while but a new beta firmware for the RV has fixed the MTU issues.  VPNs to ASL work great now.

    Meanwhile I was also able to use a Dlink 804HV as a VPN endpoint to the ASL.
