Well after a long absence I'm back. Thankyouverymuch.
Anyway here's my problem. I've been using PPTP as my roadwarrior VPN solution for a while since I only had Win2k laptops and configuring L2TP on Win2k is a pain. However, my wife and I now have WinXP laptops and L2TP is no problem now. I've set up PPTP and L2TP on 6.202 and I can connect to both without any problems and can access internal resources (radmin, ftp, windows file sharing, etc.) I can even access my internal mail server via HTTPS using my public IP address. I can't however connect to an external web server, www.yahoo.com for instance, if using L2TP. If I connect using PPTP I can surf. If I connect via L2TP no surfing. When connected using either I can resolves the IP of www.yahoo.com and I can ping www.yahoo.com using the URL or the IP.
HTTP proxy is not enabled.
My virus software updates, I can access external FTP sites. I just cant use FTP.
I've set up PPTP network 192.168.26.x and L2TP network 192.168.25.x and I get an IP in the proper range when connecting. I've created MASQ rules to masq each range to the external interface and have created packet filter rules for each any, any, any, allow.
Can someone help me out here. As far I can tell it SHOULD work.
