mstsc dont work on some servers over IPSEC

Hi there...

I have a problem in my VPN Network, that i dont can reach some servers of my network with mstsc over IPSEC, but only in site to site vpn's.

When i open the mstsc and connect to one of this servers, i will see the blue background but no logon screens will shown up and after a while ... timeout message and exit ...

Same thing on Share Browsing, in the first two levels ok, when i go deeper -> timeout no permissions, but this user have the permissions, also cant copy files, every time failed...
Basicly no connects are possible to this servers (Eventviewer, DNS Admin, etc.) .... but i can ping, trace, etc.

What is very strange? internal connects work properly also connects from a client that is connected with IPSEC Client. Someone have a idea?

Specs are:
Windows 2003 SP1 Native
ASL 6.201 on both sides
IPSEC: AES with RSA and Preshared Key (both tested)

Hi Truth,

try to setup the MTU to 5000 on "IPSEC VPN -> Advanced"

Thanks, that helps for mstsc, dns, computer management, but not for Active Directory Management. Must i try to find the best MTU? ;-)

try to check the packet filter rules or the Intrusion Protection rules (if enabled)....
