How to set up Site to site VPN ?

I have 2 remote offices with Dlink 804 routers, they support VPN. And i have main office with ASTARO V6. And now i need to connect these remote sites to Astaro using VPN. 
Can't decide which one is better PPTP or LT2P?
So picture looks like this LAN>DLINK>Internet>Astaro>LAN

    [/ QUOTE ] For fixed, router-to-router links, you should be using IPsec. The D-Link DI-804HV routers are capable of this.

    Both the PPTP and the L2TP VPN protocols are intended for use between remote client machines and VPN hosting routers. These protocols are not meant for router-to-router VPN tunnels.
