IPSec gateway and IPSec pass through

Hello,
I am selecting new corporate firewall and ASL looks pretty good. But I have a question about passing IPSec packets through ASL when ASL is configured as a VPN gateway for IPSec roadwarriors and as a Site-to-Site VPN for tunnel between HQ and other office. In such configuration, is it possible to connect from internal network with VPN client (Checkpoint) to external VPN gateway of our customer? I think that there was problem (2.2 kernels) with this configuration and system could work only as a gateway or pass IPSec packets through. I may be wrong, but I should be absolutely sure before purchase.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Jan

  • I Do.  The VPN functionality in 6.x is pretty all-encompassing... it's a good security package.. I'm a Preferred Partner, and we could've chosen any of a hundred different products to focus on, and we picked Astaro.
