D-Link DI-804HV

I've got 4 remote sites currently using VPN over a DI-804HV to DI-804HV setup which is working great but I want to get these sites to directly connect into our Astaro firewall for VPN connections now, has anybody managed to get this combination to work? I've spent a few days trying to come up with a working solution but to no avail.

    Did you get the config up and running by now?
    I've got quite some problems with this setup (won't run at all).

    maybe you could pass on a hint or two?

    This reminds me that I have one of those routers sitting in the closet and would like to use it at a remote location that wouldn't need a full ASL.

    I once had this working long ago with version 3.x I think.  I can't remember the settings but now I'm inspired to try it again.  I know that it does work but requires specific settings.

    A couple of things I do remember are that the dlink likes to drop the VPN when idle and because this is a consumer product there will never be new firmware.  This is why I prefer software based products like ASL.  At least I can upgrade without tossing the whole product away.
