I've read some of the documentations but I'm still a bit confused as to how VPN work and is setup. Here's my situation, and I hope you can shed some light into this:
I have a laptop our company recently gave to me. It's installed and setup with a Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.0.4 with Client Type(s) as Windows or WinNT.
Just to see if I can connect to our server at work, without ASL, I'ved hooked up my laptop directly to my cable modem. I then clicked on the Connect icon and it prompted me to enter my userid and password(using RSA SecureID). Voila, I was then able to connect to our servers via ssh or telnet.
So, now, I'd like to put ASL back into the picture. Asking the VPN gurus for help, can someone please tell me the general idea on how to set this up so that I can connect to our serves at work but through ASL?
Btw, we have static IP for the remote host.
Thanks!
