My Roadwarrior IPSec VPN has been working but since v. 5.202 and currently with 5.203, the system appears to be broken.
Specifically, the roadwarrior manual states that the only Packet Filter rules one needs is for the L2TP-pool.
After setting up ASL and attempting the connection, the packet filter shows that UPD 1701 is being blocked.
Adding a rule explicitly allowing this traffic has no effect. It's still blocked by some function blow the packet filter system. Changes to the packet filter have no effect on this blockage.
My rule is
Source_Addr: Any
Service: 1701 [a custom rule w/ port 1701 as
destination port and any as source port).
Destination Addr: Any.
All of this traffic is still blocked and no VPN connections with L2TP can be made.
I've asked for assistance in another thread and conversations go in circles requiring constant restatement of the information above. I'm assuming there is a language barrier problem. Others are seeing this problem... bue does anyone have a solution?
