IPSec Kernel Question

after update 5.100 it seems to be something wrong with our ipsec... by trying to establish an ipsec-connection we got several times a hint: ":: IPSec Kernel Modules not loaded ::" in the VPN-Routes window.

what is the problem here? arent the modules loaded automatically by starting the asl??

  • after testing with ipsec connections... i discovered that ipsec kernel modules are loaded on enabling ipsec connections (not on booting). on disabling the ipsec connection, the modules seems to become unloaded....
since restarting asl and changing the IPSec MTU size from 1492 to 5000, the strange behaviour didnt occur again.
