Hi everyone,
i have a problem with an SMTP Proxy through the Net-to-Net Connection. I have two ASL 5.027. One in our Corporate Network connected through a leased line to the Internet and one privat Edition here in my Room in my University Dorm. The University does not allow SMTP Traffic to pass through their Firewall so I made a Net-to-Net VPN connection between the two ASLs and I was trying to tell the ASL SMTP Proxy in the Corporate Network to send the mails either to the ASL in my dorm or directly to my mailserver.
Both cases do not work. So my first question is:
What is the address of the ASL in the dorm when I want to reach it over the VPN from the Corporate ASL?
Second question:
Do i have to set Paket Filter rules? If yes, which ones?
I have tried allow SMTP traffic from Any to Any on both sides and it still did not work.
Also, i have tried to set the SMTP Server in the Proxy settings to the external address of the dorm ASL, the internal address of the dorm ASL and the internal address of my mailserver. All cases did not work.
Any ideas?
