Setup:L2TP/IPSec Gateway<--WAN-->Roadwarrior (NAT)

Hello together,

i want to ask if ASL can do such an setp mentioned in my Subject.

The L2TP/IPSec Gateway has an static WAN IP. The Client gets an Virtual IP of its Adress Pool.

The L2TP/IPSec Server is not running nat but the external client from the wan side as roadwarrior. My setup is an client with nat as roadwarrior who wants to connect to an not natted l2tp/ipsec gatway trough the wan.

Is this setup possible with ASL?

    As Client i want to use SSH Sentinel 1.4.1. Which is the lastest version of it out? I know that is was sold to Safenet and support gets off. But is there any better VPN Client out which supports L2TP/IPSec with AES Chiper? What are the Facts of the ALS CPN Client. Someone has an URL for me? 

    So my setup wouble be possible with ALS?

    VPN GatwayL2TP/IPSec  (static wan ip)  Roadwarrior (behind an NAT Router) 

    So that the Client behind an NAT Router can establish an L2TP/IPSec tunnel and gets an Virtual IP / proxy arp entry trough L2TP ppp process an is an full "member" of the LAN behind the VPN Gateway.

    SSH Sentinel will work.  I believe the software is now no longer updated or supported but that's my opinion only, not 100% sure.

    I have test WinXP L2TP and it works as well.

    Ah oki Simon.

    Now i reconginzed that the Astaro VPN Client is based on the NCP Secure Client which is not capable of L2TP.  So SSH Sentinel is my first choice.
