PPTP Access with Astaro SL 5.024 not working

Hi,

I have the following Problem with Astaro SL 5.024. The machine is set up to serve as a pptp server for some external workers. The installation itself was not really difficult and everything was working fine for a few months now...but the whole thing suddenly stopped working a few days ago.
Whenever someone attempts to connect now using Windows 2000 or Windows Xp, the following error message is displayed:

Fehler 619: Zu dem angegebenen Port ist keine Verbindung hergestellt.
The Error message is in German, but I think the important part is the Error ID itself.

I already tried to reinstall Astaro, import the old configuration, but the problem still persists. Even after a complete reinstall with a new configuration the error still occurs...I even swapped the complete machine and tried a new installation..but still, the same error occurs...I am obviously at a losss as to what could be the cause of this problem...so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I ran into a similar issue once with L2TP IPSEC vpn connections.  I was able to resolve the issue by deleting and recreating the vpn connection from the client side.  I simply removed the network connection from my Network Connections menu and ran through the wizard to setup a new one.  

    This started occuring when I upgraded to new version of Astaro, have you recently upgraded to 5.024?

    Have you recently applied patches to your MS boxes?  SP2 for XP has been known to cause some issues with vpn connections...or so I've heard from friends.  It also enables the windows firewall by default which will prevent users from connecting. 

    Also, are these users connecting from  dial-up or from some type of Broadband connection?   As I recall, I 'think' Error 619 has something to with dial-up networking.  I may be wrong so don't just take my word for it.  If they are connecting from broadband, do the users have a local NAT firewall?  If so, NAT-T must be enabled and PPTP pass-through must be enabled as well.

    And finally, are the appropriate NAT/DNAT and PAcket Filter rules in place on your Astaro box?
