1 ip-sec tunnel asl4 / cisco for two subnetsl

i have an ipsec tunnel running between our asl4 and an cisco router for subnet 193.196.138.192/27.
Now i have to change the tunnel to let also 193.196.138.0/24 through it.
It tried the subnet setting 193.196.136.0/21
With this change also the users in the 193.196.138.192/27 subnet can not work any longer.
Is it possible to use a subnet in the described form?

    If there isn't a typo in your message than 193.196.138.0/24 also includes your original subnet and will work just fine.  You have to make the subnet config change at both ends of the VPN. 

    If you need multiple subnets that can't be included in one definition then you make multiple VPN connections which isn't a problem either.  Just don't have ovelapping subnets in your configs I.E. 193.196.138.0/24 + 193.196.138.192/27.

    I am very sorry, i wrote a wrong subnet number. 
    The two subnets are
    193.196.138.192/27
    193.196.140.0/24
    With the used subnet for ipsec (193.196.136.0/21) i tried to get a connection to both subnets with only one tunnel
