IPSec VPN between ASL and Monowall

I set up a configuration with an ASL (v 4.023) and monowall (v.1.0).
The IPSec tunnel is up and from the "monowall LAN" I can access the lan behind ASL.
Not viceversa.

I get no error message from any side. Looking at the syslogs nothing  is showing evidence of any error. Kernel and packet filter logs shows no drop related to the data through the tunnel.

Neither pinging from the ASL lan to the remote one works.

Does anyone have any suggestion where and what to look for?

(PS: Obviously I also created a rule to allow access from the remote LAN;, another rule, by default allowed access to "any" from the LAN behind the ASL)

    This post is a reply to my previous one just to confirm that the issue I started has been solved, though in the straightforward way:
    I installed ASL v. 5 and, consequentely, re-configured everything, at its side.

    Luckily I've saved the previous logs and I'll do some further checking to try and understand where the problem resided.

    For those interested to have a guide to replicate the same working configuration (or to start from it) just drop me a line at my personal mail (link above): there's a step-by step document for setting up both sides of the VPN (ASL and monowall).
