Win2k - no window to enter the shared secret

i use l2tp on winxp with no problems. now i want to use on other machine with win2k, but i cant found the window to enter the ipsec shared secret. sp4 is installed.

in the astaro documentation is written about winxp and win2k. is this an mistake?

leave the field "ipsec shared secret" on astaro blank is not allowed.

any ideas?

    Unfortunately there is no such input field in Windows 2000. If you want to use PSK-based L2TP in Windows 2000, you need to configure it via management console, which means much more effort. Funny enough, using certificates with Windows 2000 is much easier than setting up the PSK-based solution.

    Correct; it can be configured under Administrative Tools...Local Security Policy: IP Security Policies on Local Machine...
