Does anybody have experience with Cisco VPN Client software - using that against ASL instead of Sentinel?

Can it be done?

yes i used it through my v4 to get to my wife's office...had to open a few ports(stf for cisco vpn)

Cisco VPN client against Astaro? Afaik that's a no go! I am pretty sure William meant through Astaro. The cisco client expects bigger parts of its configuration to be applied by the remote gateway but Astaro and Sentinel need to be configured statically.
