ASL 4.something (I don't know where to find version...). Followed PPTP HOW-To on Astaro site. Set up PPTP VPN on laptop. It connects, authenticates and logs onto network. I can ping all internal devices. I can ssh to them. I have a path to Internet. Everything seems to work fine. At Windows level, I can "Map a network drive".
But, I cannot "Browse the Network" in File Explorer. I should be able to click on Network Neighborhood and see all my shared devices. I don't get any error, it just does not find any systems. (When directly connected to my LAN I'll find several shared devices.) This is important because it's easier to tell users how to find a system then to keep reminding them to map the drive. I think this is some kind of netbios level discovery protocol that my packet filter is blocking, but I have my pptp-pool filter set to PPTP-POOL -> Any -> Any -> Allow. So I don't know what could be getting blocked. Any Ideas?
