VPN disconnects!

Hi,
I can make a pptp connection to my Astaro, but when I try to reach any service within the local net the VPN-Connection hangs up. I checked the pptp-log and found following entry:
GRE: read(fd=6,buffer=8055600,len=8260) from network failed: status = -1 error = Message too long
CTRL: GRE-tunnel has collapsed (GRE read or PTY write failed (gre,pty)=(6,5))

It is a Astaro v4 4.0.22
I connect through DSL, but I had to change the modem, since my old one was broken, I use a Zyxel Prestige 660HW-67 and AOL as provider.
Anyone who has any suggestions?

Try to reduce the mtu on your client. You can use a tool called drtcp to do that.

Thanks it worked. For AOL you have to lower the MTU to 1300
