IPSec VPN between ASL and Linux 2.6

hi,
i am planning to establish a vpn tunnel between a ASL v4 appliance and a linux box with 2.6 kernel.

can anybody supply a working solution or recommend a client software (openswan, ipsec-tools, etc.)

since Astaro itself uses Openswan it would be a good idea to use it too. Goto http://www.openswan.org/ and have a look at the nice logo in the lower right corner [:)]

go to their site, i think they forgot their sponsor ?? [;)]
Could not see your logo, neither in Mozilla 1.6 nor in IE6 .....

Desktop_firewall_stuff_blocking_some_graphics_as_advertising thing again .....
..... but you're right: Really had a hard day. Should not read/post while sleeping with open eyes

hello,

openswan sure is the client to use to connect to my ASL firewall.

it would be great if someone could provide a step by step solution for an openswanASL VPN connection setup.

so my concrete question is if someone has installed a working openswan-ASL VPN!
