MS Exchange through VPN (2 offices)

Hi!

I'm using Astaro 4.021 (Professional version) at one of our offices. Astaro is connected to a Smoothwall at our second office.

I used Smoothwall at both offices before, but have now bought 1 Astaro license for the bigger office.

To the question:

I'm having trouble getting users from the second office accessing our exchangeserver through the VPN to the first office where the exchangeserver is located.

what services / ports should be opened to get this to work? Filesharing etc. is solved through the VPN, but i haven't found any post or documentation for ports related to exchangeserver.

Has someone out there solved this ?

I currently have exchange traffic running between two sites without any problems, but then I also have a packet filter rule to allow all access from the remote site into the network with the exchange server.
This site also lists all the ports you might want to setup in your packet filter if you do not want to allow unrestrcited access: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;278339

Thanks! The link didn't solve the problem, but i opened up all access between the 2 vpn offices.. Not the best solution, but atleast they can read their mail. [:)]
