SSH Sentinel Not Keeping VPN Configuration

I downloaded the doc and configured ASL and SSH Sentinel (30 day demo) for the x.509 host-to-net config. When I run the diagnostics within SSH Sentinel it says that everything should work fine. However when I click apply or ok it appears that it attemps to save the connection but then it disappears from the VPN Connections section of the security policy tab.

I searched the forums for issues related to this but haven't seen any. Has anyone else encountered this problem or have any ideas?  I'm thinking that ASL is fine due to the sucessful diagnostic. This is on a WinXP box and the user has admin rights, although I also tried it as the box admin with no success.

    Thusfar I have not been able to find any log information related to this. I've heard of this problem with SSH Sentinel 1.3 but I am encountering it in 1.4 where a newly created VPN connection "disappears" after clicking apply. 

    I know someone mentioned VPNDialer does anyone else have any good experiece with this?
