does anybody know when "automatic virtual ip address assigning" will be available for roadwarrior connections?weeks/months/years?

Are you talking about PPTP? PPTP already includes automatic IP-assignment.

IPSec does not include automatic IP-assignment. Maybe V5. Please wait for a beta.

no I talk aboot IPSEC. zou can assign ip via IKE or DHCP after the tunnel established.
Have a look on the solutions from Nortel, Checkpoint, Cisco,....
