What VPN client do I need for VPN

We are looking into putting a MS RAS VPN gateway in our DMZ, behind the astaro firewall. Can I use the default MS VPN client for our VPN connection, or do I still need to use the astaro sentinal client?

Since you are going to pay for it (CISCO is not free) just go to SSH Sentinel and the configuration will work quickly. The VPN of Microsoft I only could make it work in PPTP not IPSec.

I think the Microsoft one can only be used by adding some programs to make it work with the ASTARO.

Yes.
If this behaviour is forever, then Checkpoint whit Accelerator card is no desirable.
I did not make the server nothing (No reiki neither saumerio,etc)
Tree test with same result

Hey I just found... Astaro V.5 will support L2TP/IPSec with the VPN client of Microsoft (free with the O.S.).

The Beta is ready to test.
