What VPN client do I need for VPN

We are looking into putting a MS RAS VPN gateway in our DMZ, behind the astaro firewall.  Can I use the default MS VPN client for our VPN connection, or do I still need to use the astaro sentinal client?

    not neccessarily..others on these forums have used cisco clients among others..jsut have to know the ports and such but otherwise it   should work fine...i think at docs.astaro.org there is a doc on setting up 2k/xp vpn to pass through ASL...
