IPSec client inside firewall...???

I have to vpn into numerous sites from behind astaro.  I use nortel, cisco, and microsoft clients. Here's what I did to make it work:

Create a Network Definition for  the NYC vpn server.
Create packet filter rules that allow the vpn protocols through from your lan to that specific network definition.

If you can provide the vpn client used, I might be able to give you the specific ports which need to be opened.

Also, are you using Astaro as a vpn server?

I wish i knew the ports and stuff too! What I did was add the IPSec VPN Server's IP to the packetfilter and I allow any traffic to it....
