PPTP w/ W2K IAS

I need to allow my IAS server to reply to ASL with the IP address to assign to the VPN client. I have put this into the rules of the IAS server and it does send the information in its response to ASL. IAS is using a code of 66 to designate the assigned IP, but ASL is not recognizing this.

The documentation states that a RADIUS server can return the IP to assign to the VPN client, but as of yet, I have not been able to successfully make this happen.

    1) Have the validation rules in the proper order (duh   )
    2) Set to "Client may request IP" on IP tab for the appropriate rule.
    3) In AD modify user dial-in permissions to static IP and assign address.

    Do you have a document for step to configure IAS and PPTP on astaro. I try to configure it but it doesn't work. I'm freshhy for this question.

    If you wnat to use Radius with PPTP, you have to set  up the PPTP-Radius Authentication on ASL. Then, define the RADIUS-Client (your ASL) on IAS and create a RAS policy called PPTP. In this Policy, add a condition, where you append the windows user group. This group must contain the users, which should be authenticated with your PPTP-ASL connection. But pay attention, you have to enable unencrypted PAP-Authentication in your Radius profile.
