PPTP Assistance

Just need some assistance with the PPTP configuration. My Astaro server has a 192.168.1.x address on the internal interface and a single public IP address on the external interface. The PPTP-Pool is a 10.x.x.x range. What I want to be able to do is to VPN in and then access servers in the 192.168.1.x range. 

I can successfully connect and am given a 10.x.x.x address, however do not have a route to the 192.168.1.x network. The Astaro box does not have an address in the 10.x.x.x range so I'm not sure what to set the gateway to. Do I need to manually add an address in the 10.x.x.x range to the Astaro server? If so to which interface? 

Do I need to setup additional packet filter rules to allow the PPTP-Pool access to the Internal Network?

Do I need to manually add a route on the Windows XP client? Is there a way around needing to do this?

    You do not need to manually add a 10.x.x.x address, as it already defined in the PPTP-Pool (or whatever you may call it) when configuring your PPTP setup.

    You'll need a masq rule for PPTP access to the LAN, such as PPTP-Pool -> All/All Masq_LAN and a filter fule such as PPTP-Pool/Any/Lan/Allow (the allow can be any service if you wish to tighten down your network).

    You shouldn't need any manually-entered routes in the client.  I do,however, have an internal-network DNS that I reference in the optional parameters, as well as the external DNS.
