VPN Net-to-Net with 2 ASL boxes

Is it possible to setup a VPN Net-to-Net connection between two networks with 2 ASL boxes?
EDIT: Apparently So

Example:
(Internal Network)---(ASL)====(VPN through internet)====(ASL)---(Internal Network)

UPDATE Question:  Do any static routes need to be established on either side so 192.168.0.xxx can see 192.168.1.xxx ect?

    No problem if you have 2 ipaddresses at each site, i had some problems with simple adsl lines (with a router that nats all the traffic.)

    Could you add some more details to your problems with just 1 IP using ADSL Mawa?

    I plan on setting up a net-net connection using a cable modem on each end which has 1 IP address per location and both cable modems get their IP's via DHCP from the cable modem provider.  

    Beyond the fact that they recieve their IP's via DHCP, I've had teh same IP addresses at both locations for over a year now, so if I have to go into the webadmin interface and rework the VPN tunnel one or two times a year, thats ok by me.  Now if there are actual problems with creating the tunnel which has IP's assigned by DHCP then I'd definately like to hear about that.
