Sentinel and Domain Users

Hi Forum,

I´ve got a probleme with sentinal 1.4.1 and Windows Domain Users (without Admin rights).

There´s no problem with the actual VPN-Connection everything works fine.
But since we use the vpn for RW-Laptops we only want to allow Traffic thru the VPN.
Therefor we want the Sentinel to establish a VPN-Connection each time a Internet-Connection starts.
But Domain-User without Admin rights can´t start or stop the sentinel due to unprivileged rights.

Has anyone a similar setup or expierence with automatically starting the sentinel ?

    Hi,

    The SSH-Sentinel installs itself as a Service. And if it is configured for autostart, it starts when the Machine is started.
    So the Sentinel is running even if a unprivileged user loggs in.

    For denying Traffic to the Internet you can configure Policies which are active with the Sentinel-startup.
    like:
    Pre-ipsec ... Default Response ...
