how to setup IKE Config Mode and DHCP over IPSec?

Hello all,

I use Sentinal 1.4.1 and ASL 4.0. I want to establish a RoadWarrior connection to my "Ineternal Network". If I set up the IP manual the VPN seems to work. The problem here is that I can't ping or establish a connection to a workstation in my Internal Network. I have "auto packetfilner" on. Must I use for the Sentinal IP an IP of my internal Network range or out of? I read that to set the IP manually can make Problems and I need to do some additional settings. So I decided to place the IP by DHCP or IKE Config Mode. With this two modes I couldn't establish a connection yet. I get the error message in diagnostic mode "exchanging IPSec proposals FAILED!" What must I set up at ASL for this modes? Or has someone any other idea?

    Haven't had any luck myself yet on this but so far:

    Assign an IP to the client outside of your internal LAN.  (ie Use a unique range for VPN clients).

    Use a 24 bit mask for the IP on the client.  ie 255.255.255.0

    Hope this helps some.
