high isakmp traffic

Hi!

I'm wondering about high traffic for isakmp (udp) on my firewall (traffic shown under reporting - accounting). Normally i have about 45k/day for isakmp, but yesterday there were 3544 MB. What could this be?

Are you using PSK for authentication? Dynamic or static IPs. Please give us a more detailed description about your IPSec-configuration.

I am using PSK and have static IPs. There are 3 IPSEC connections configured and online.

Name       Type   Local  Remote Endpoints
     VPN1 standard local_outside remote_outside
   ...

  KEY1 PSK   IPV4_ADDR    [none]   Off
  ...

I'm sometimes using PPTP roadwarrior access, but not the day with high traffic

Hmm, I don't know why you have such a high traffic.
What does the logfile says?
/var/log/auth
Are there some often recurring errors?
