Hardware VPN-Client

Hi Folks!
I searched through this forum and I know this topic has been up about a year ago, but I still haven't found a good solution to my problem.
We have a small network that's protected by an ASL v4. It has a static IP and works flawlessly so far. What I need to do now is to add a few remote clients to the protected network. Right now they have static IPs, too, and I can do a W2k-VPN-connection to the ASL. However, I'd like to have a small hardware router to do this for my, because I want to protect the clients against attacks. I could set up another ASL, but for only 1 or 2 clients in a remote location that seems to be a bit of an overkill.

So, has  anyone of you any good suggestion? I dream about plugging the remote PC into the router and have it acting like I had plugged it into the main switch of the protected network.

    we use Routers (x2300is) from Bintec.
    They work with x509 Certificates an work well with astaro and have a 8-Port Switch included

    I have a couple of Snapgear Lites that work very well for this.

    Just a suggestion (to ASTARO Team):
    Had the same problem like Oliver, and played around with recommendet routers.

    Maybe there could be a kind of 'VPN Compatibility list' similar to the HCL with information like:

    - Router name (maybe incl. Firmware version)
    - Supported VPN types
    - Dynamic or Static
    - Tested (and working) types
    - Tested ASL version

    The board members surely could provide lot's of feedback  

    But to answer the origin question:
    I played around with the Netgear  FVS318 it works fine and supports even AES, but only with static IP (leased line.
    Problem is, that the 'Local IPSEC identifier' in the box is a static name, but ASL needs the dynamic IP which changes frequently (with dialup line like T-DSL).
    Contacted NetGear support but got no answer yet.
