PPTP on 4.016

Well, things are going well.
I have connected as I used to, and reconnected 3 times. After the third disconnect, I could no longer connect.
My mail server is unreachable, it was before.
My FTP was unreachable, it was before.
I couldn't ping my domain either. That's the puzzler. I have a Linksys router between the internet and my ASL box. The glitch was, most likely, a network problem. I'll keep an eye on it.
I've, just now, connected and disconnected 5 times. all seems OK.
I'm going to connect and see how long it stays connected.
I'll post my results.

    Disconnected.
    After 69 minutes I was disconnected. reconnected with no problems.

    I don't have tons of experience with PPTP, and I am NOT being an apologist for Astaro, but:

    69 minutes; that seems plausible, considering thw QoS of most Internet connections...

    After reconnecting I was connected for hours with no problems.

    The logs say that after my reconnect it was connected for 416 minutes, disconnected, then my windows client reconnected and remained for another 182 minutes then a normal disconnect when I shut down my laptop.
    Looks like they got it. I figure the disconnect was because of some other network issue since it reconnected right away.
