VPNs with Astaro & Windows 2000 RADIUS

Has anyone managed to get a VPN working using Astaro (V4) authenticating against Windows 2000 Active Directory?

That isn't possible at the moment. You have to use Certificates. Maybe a thing for one of the next Versions.

You could use AD's LDAP, but that would be passing credentials cleartext. So you set up MS IAS (Internet Authentication Server) -Microsoft's RADIUS server, to achieve that functionality...

I have tried with IAS, it works but client XP only. for Windows98, I'm trying to solve it.
