PPTP RoadWarrior tunnel dropping...

I am using PPTP to secure my wireless LAN.  I have two clients.  One is a desktop and one is a laptop.  the user for authentication for my laptop is called "laptop".  My desktop works fine.  My laptop drops the tunnel about every minute after opening it.  I don't know the first thing about PPTP, can someone look at this section of my log and tell me what's happening?

My Wireless DMZ interface on the ASL box is 172.16.0.1

My Laptop has a static IP of 172.16.0.11

I have the PPTP set to get an address from the my LAN Network which is 192.168.5.0/24.

    I get that behavior with Personal firewalls (mail clients to servers dropping their connections...); it's walking the line, but have you tried it with the personal firewall turned off for two minutes? Is there a difference in the client firewalling between the laptop and the desktop?

    What happens if you have packet activity going? (like a Windows ping -t)

    I get errors like yours too. It happens whether the connection is active or idle. I just don't use my VPN very often. This is an ASL problem with the PPTPd. This all seemed to happen when they incorporated support for PI/K6 processors. I know a lot of people are using their P133 as an ASL box but at what expense? The lack of reliability of Astaro's product. Sure would be nice to have a 4.016 ISO that doesn't have this pptp issue, even at the expense of PI/K6 support.

    I guess my wishes have been graned. There's an new ISO available. Announced a little while ago.
