Hello everybody,
has anybody got an idea how to get PPTP Access running with NT 4 client ?
Worked fine on ASL 3.x but not any more on 4.x.
I have solved the known problems with W98- clients fine, but not for the (single) NT4-client of one of my customers.
The log looks like this:
pptpd[1071]: CTRL: Client 192.168.20.133 control connection started
pptpd[1071]: CTRL: Starting call (launching pppd, opening GRE)
pppd[1072]: pppd 2.4.2b1 started by (unknown), uid 0
pppd[1072]: Starting negotiation on /dev/ttyp0
pptpd[1071]: CTRL: Ignored a SET LINK INFO packet with real ACCMs!
pppd[1072]: No CHAP secret found for authenticating DORWE01\cschadinger, trying aua now.
pppd[1072]: Using interface ppp0
pppd[1072]: CHAP peer authentication succeeded for DORWE01\cschadinger
pppd[1072]: CCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
pptpd[1071]: CTRL: Closing child BCrelay with pid 0
pptpd[1071]: CTRL: Closing child ppp with pid 1072
pptpd[1071]: CTRL: Client 192.168.20.133 control connection finished
pppd[1072]: Terminating on signal 2.
pppd[1072]: Modem hangup
pppd[1072]: Connection terminated.
On the client I get error 718, which means that the client is also waiting for some response...
looks as if they can't talk with each other [:S]
Thanx in advance,
highmoe
