PPTP from Pocket PC phone (XDA, Tmobile, Samsung,)

Does anybody know how to configure Pocket PC phone to Access Astaro PPTP server? I have no luck of doing this. Either 40bit or 128bit MSPPE does not work. Or is this something that can be fixed at the next Up2Date?
Please help.

If PPTP does not work, does Movian VPN client work with Astaro? If so, how to setup?

just to make sure your vpn is configured properly, did you try setting up a vpn client from a pc first?

The problem is that you need to setup the "Encryptation required" in VPN client like you usualy do on XP VPN client.

But I don't know how to do that... you need to change something on Registry on PocketPC using PHMRegistry program. But I don't know what parameter to change.

You can use NCP Secure Entry Client (for CE) http://www.ncp.de/download/sececcee.pdf

It's the same software for pc, and you can manage IPSEC connection with same configuration of your laptop!!

I'm using this software on a QTEK 9090 (XDA II) - and it work very well - also on V6 beta

Hi,

PPTP didn't work with a Pocket PC for protokoll reasens.
You can use a secure L2tp connection with a preshared password to an astaro user. It works with my MDAIII quit well.
