I followed the instructions for setting up "PPTP Road Warrior" but I am experiencing some weirdness.
I'm coming from a home network of 10.0.0.XXX to an office network with 192.168.0.XXX whose firewall "PPTP IP Pool" is 10.160.86.XXX. I can establish a VPN but can't get past the firewall.
The funny thing is that if I change the firewall's "PPTP IP Pool" from 10.168.86.XXX to 192.168.0.XXX I CAN get past the firewall to all my internal resources on the office network.
Is there something I'm not getting here or is this a bug?
I'm using ASL 4.0.10 and have setup the Firewall with the following setting:
Firewall setting:
Office Network 192.168.0.XXX
Internal Interface 192.168.0.16
External Interface 129.xxx.xxx.228
Rule1: ANY ANY ANY ALLOW (just for troubleshooting)
PPTP Roadwarrior Network Access:
Status: Enabled
Encryption: 128
Authentication: Local Users
PPTP-Pool: 10.160.86.XXX
Client DNS servers: 192.168.0.12
Client domain: MyCompany.com
Created User: Jeronimo
Allowed Features: HTTP, PPTP, SMTP, SOCKS, WebAdmin
Remote Access IP: "from pool"
