RSA SecureID and Astaro

OK...with the newest version of Astaro (I am currently at 4.009) you can use Radius for PPTP Authentication.  Has anyone got this setup to work with RSA SecureID?  If so HOW?!!

    Hi,

    do you have any news on this ?

    I tried to authenticate squid-users via an ACE-server but it failed. Apparently there is something wrong in the setup of my ACE-server.

    Has anybody ever manged to authenticate users via an RSA-ACE-server ?

    I talked to the Astaro-support a while ago.
    RSA secur ID is not compatible with RADIUS. RSA needs extra functionality of the client.
    I hope that Astaro is aware of this problem now, but AFAIK Astaro would have to pay licence fees for that. I'm not sure if they will implement that.
    Anyway, it would be great if they would.

    I have use the RSA with a Cisco VPN conentrator.  RSA come with its own RADIUS.  If it is possible to get your radius talking to RSA one.  You should be fine

    hi all,
    rsa-ace server has a built in radius server but you must activate it. then you must define your asl-box as aclient in ace-server you must configure radius-authentication on your asl (setting up ip-address of ace-server and the secret you have set in ace). we use radius auth with ace server for web-admin and http-proxy. works fine.
