VLAN settings?

Hello!

I have some problems setting up serveral vlan's on an Astaro v4.007 (evaluation version).

At first an overview of the hardware:

CPU: 1.7GHz Celeron
RAM: 256MB
Nics: 2 Gigabit Intel 82540EM onboard & 3-port Intel 82559ER PCI-Card
HDD: 60GB IDE


One of the onbord nics is the administrative one with a 192.168.x.x ip-address. Untill here everything works fine.
Now I've tried to set up vlans on one port of the pci-card. This interface is connected with a cisco catalyst 3500. The switchport is configured as trunk with dot1q encapsulation. 
I took 'VLAN ethernet interface' as type and put in address, netmask and vlan tag. After saving it in the 'Current Interface Status' ip-address and netmask are shown as "?".

Any idea?

     Hi guys,


    I've tested a little bit during the long weekend. It seems to be a problem of the GUI. If you have a look in the itf.conf you will see the correct entries. After pinging the virtual interface the GUI will show it correct, too.

    Hi there,
    this is ease to explain.

    Once you send your save request to add the new interface, 
    in the same second the new html page is generated, 
    but at that time, the new interface is not yet added on the backend, 
    there is a 1 second dealy or so.
    If you click Network > Interfaces again, you should see that the interface is 
    up and running.
