VPN Speed Problem

My problem is following.  I generate the VPN, I connect myself well,
autentifico against the dominion server so and as it interested to me, I
have an ADSL with 384 Kb of slope and 128 Kb of ascent.  The problem is that
when I want to take to a file not with himself all the bandwidth, that is to
say, single with himself between 10 and 11 Kb when it could obtain more
bandwidth, but is not thus.  Sight this I watch the graficas to know as it
can be the problem, (if somebody this eating the wide one), but is not thus.

who this in different points from the country can work within our network at
the same speed that we, or at least that is an acceptable speed.  Which
could be the problem.  It could be something related to the quality of the
services (QoS)?  Or it can be a subject of the networks of Windows.  My
version of Astaro (ASL) is the 4.000.

    The type
    of VPN that we are using is a?PPTP Roadwarrior,  the test has been made with
    a single user and if, I have activated the QoS with the following rule:

        PPTP-Pool  Any  Interna_Network__  high  borrow.

        I have updated the version of Astaro ASL to one 4,006, have obtained
    more bandwidth, with version 4,000 we obtained 77 Kbps and with the new 102
    version I have obtained Kbps.  Anyway the maximum that I can obtain is of
    128 Kbps.  It would interest to me to know that bandwidth we are speaking to
    be able to obtain that 5 VPNs work simultaneously and with an acceptable
    speed.  And one completes question, you have certainty of which connection
    works really well,  I ask it because as you will be able to understand I
    cannot contract a T1, T3, ATM... single to test, and to be able to make a
    request it must have tests.  [:S]

    There are a few settings you can try.  Depending on the level of encryption  MD5, SHA-1 or SHA-2 your speed will be affected.  If you are using 3DES for encrypted packets  try a diff method; the same goes for your authentication encryption level.  Also, check your live flter log located in Packet Filter for unneeded broadcasts and eliminate them.
