I'm currently using ASL 4.006. I've been accessing my home network from out of town for 3 days now and all was going well until recently. As of this evening I get an "Error 651 your modem or other device is reporting an error".
I'm using the windows 2000 PPTP client and have not changed a thing. If I ping my domain for an IP and enter the IP in the address window, I get the same thing. I even got 734 errors a couple of times. This is following an incident 4 days ago when ASL 4.004 simply stopped relaying mail to the server in the DMZ. The server from the DMZ couldn't even get to the internet. A reboot of the ASL machine after updating to 4.006 fixed everything. Until this.
Has anyone had any similar experiences?
