Script to close DSL-connection at 06 AM and start it again

Hi,

I've got an ASL-firewall and I can access to ASL by dynamic DNS.
Somtimes my provider close the connection. Mostly, it is every 24 hours.
This could be in a VPN-Session :-((

Is it possible, that a script close the connection e.g. at 06 AM and starts a new connection.
Than, I've got a controlled connectionless at 06 AM, when no tunnel is active.

Does someone knew, how it could be realised?

I want to know how to start-and-stop my DSL connection too, mine only drops like once evey few months, but still...

Up until now I've just been restarting the box.
