PPTP does not wor since last night ... what went wrong ???

Last Night my PPTP Net works fine. After a few hors Net was terminated by the T-DSL 24h limit. The next Time I have tried to connect to the remote network, I got the following Msg. in the remote logfile.

It says aua access denied, but all Users are configured right. What went wrong last night ??

    What happens if you _remove_ a user account and re-add it? Does it work?

    I've seen it happen where sometimes a specific users account info gets corrupted, but never _all_ of them.

    Yes - I have tryed this already - no effect.

    I also think that the Problem is at the client side - because other users from other clients colud connect to PPTP Network. But I made no changes at my workstation. Its a W2K Prof. System behind an Astaro SLFirewall at German T-DSL(ADSL).
    Firewall is configured for MASQ. Remote System(PPTP Server) is also AstaroSLFirewall at newest Version with 2MBit Internet Connection.

    Is this a Problem of the W2k Client (are there any Keys or something else for authenticating which could be deleted..??) - or is my Home Firewall not working correctly ?

    I would try deleting your pptp connection under "Start" -> "Settings" -> "Network Connections" and re-adding it. If that doesn't work, time to start the debugging on your firewall itself.
