Hey zoodoo, with two ASL boxes why not use the IPSEC builtin?  Very easy and much more secure than PPTP, and faster too....  (or are we talking dynamic IPs on both ends?)

i have vpn tunnels between two machines on dynamic ips. Works great. Will require manual intervention if IPs change though.
