vpn with one card

i want to use asl 3.0 just for vpn (client to box). i have another firewall used as a gateway . so i want to know if it's possible to use asl before (outside) that firewall not as a gateway but with one  ethernet card ......is it possible...

    Hi there,

    just to clarify some things: what do you want to do with a standalone-asl-box?
    If you want to gain access on the asl-box (alone), then you could instead use ssh or the webadmin.

    i want to use vpn tunnel between asl and ipsec remote client  without crossing another firewall(*). 
    I have a web application (inside this firewall)  for that ipsec remote client  must reach since the outside. if vpn is etablished between asl and ipsec clients , they can use asl as http proxy in order to autorise just one IP to cross the firewall(*).

    that seems to be a strange configuration   [:)] 

    the answer depends on on your exact configuration:

       RemoteClient ---> (mayby router???) --->  ASL-Box ---> Other-FW ---> Server-in-LAN

    some additional questions therefore:
    - is there a router between ASL-Box and Internet?
    - has ASL fixed IP?
    - has Other-FW fixed IP
    - is router -if there- default-gateway to Other-FW and to ASL-Box?

    Scenario seems to be a little bit tricky

    accéss for  servers in   will be throught ASL proxy(with VPN tunnel between remote client and ASL )
