WINS-Problem when logging in via PPTP

Hi!

I've got a problem with my Notebook (WinXP SP1) and the local WINS-Server when connecting via PPTP.

When i'm connected locally, everything's ok, but if i go home with my notebook and connect via pptp, there comes a message saying something lik "name already exists in network".

If i then delete the name-entry on the wins-server, everything works fine. Seems like the wins-updating doesn't work. what can i do?
When connecting via another network segment in the company it works fine, so I think it's definitively an astaro-problem.

Could it be that when using PPTP, your notebook gets another IP, which sort of "confusses" the WINS server?

Yes, it gets an IP from the PPTP-Pool. But this should be no problem because if I am connected from another subnet in our company's net, i don't have any problems.
