Roadwarrior drops when acessing remote share

We are running ASL. I always used to be able to VPN from my XP Pro Laptop. I can still establish the VPN and ping and run remote services. Only when I try to access a SHARE the connection drops on my laptop without warning.
With other computers (none of them running XP Pro though) it works flawlessly.
Anyone ever heard of that one?

    I can shed a little more light on the problem at hand. Just by chance I tried it from the office. And it worked without problem! After some experimenting I found this out:
    If I was logged into the domain before WITHOUT shutting my computer down or logging off, it works. That means if I pull my NIC plug and dial in the connection stays even if I access a share. But if I log off and log back on and then dial in it drops when accessing a share...
    Where can I begin the troubleshooting? Guess this is a Win XP problem, but the help you get from BG is less than perfect :-(
