Roadwarrior VPN & external IP

Hi All.

I configured roadwarrior access to my internal net through astaro 3.209. I can ping the rw, the rw can ping all machines in my internal network.

Now I'm trying to get a game running that broadcasts into the LAN to "publish" a hosted game - so far, so good, but the rw machine uses it's external IP as the source address, not the LAN IP - and (of course) this traffic is blocked by the firewall. I think it's a problem on the rw-side (W98SE). Has anyone an idea how to solve this ?

BTW: Is it possible to use the same net (e.g. 192.168.1.0/24) for both LAN and rw-VPN ? Trying to configure it like this results in an IP-addr. conflict, because the PtP-addr. for the rw-machine is the same (.1) as a server in my LAN.

    Hi,

    define a new pptp-pool which is a little part of your internal LAN. (ex. 192.168.1.0/30)
    But dont use IP Adresses from that Pool internal.
    This works rock stable.
    Anyway you need Rules for permit traffic from here to there.
