Hi All,
Have been playing around with astaro and all goes very well, but am having trouble with getting a pptp connection authorised properly.
Senario.
Home Server ------------ desktop
Setup a pptp connection from work to home server.
Configre user details in Astaro etc.
Following is logged in log file.
==================================================
Oct 9 13:02:35 gw pppd[7023]: pppd 2.4.0 started by (unknown), uid 0
Oct 9 13:02:35 gw pppd[7023]: Using interface ppp0
Oct 9 13:02:35 gw pppd[7023]: Connect: ppp0 /dev/ttyp0
Oct 9 13:02:38 gw pppd[7023]: No CHAP secret found for authenticating steve on pptp, trying aua with MS-CHAP
Oct 9 13:02:40 gw aua[15183]: flushing cache
Oct 9 13:02:40 gw aua[7046]: no such facility: pptp
Oct 9 13:02:40 gw aua[7046]: U:steve F[:P]ptp R[:D]ENY
Oct 9 13:02:40 gw pppd[7023]: aua denied access
==================================================
When a put the user details straight into the chap-secrets file the logon works fine. (Because it does pass the auth off to aua)
My guess is aua does not know about pptp, but this is a clean installation which then had Up2date run against it to bring it up to date.
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks
Steve.
